EXPERIENCED IRRIGATION MANAGER

$48,000–$65,000+ PER YEAR + COMMISSIONS

YEAR-ROUND WORK • GUARANTEED SALARY • PAID WEEKLY

Austin Farms Sodding is a Missouri company with more than 30 years in business. We are looking for an experienced Irrigation Manager for a stable, year-round position in Lee's Summit.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR AN IRRIGATION MANAGER — NOT JUST AN INSTALLER.

You will be responsible for our irrigation operation and lead our irrigation crew. You'll design, estimate, sell, install, troubleshoot and manage residential irrigation projects from start to finish while working directly with customers.

SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY

• $48,000–$50,000: Experienced irrigation technician with 3+ years of experience

• $50,000–$58,000: Experienced irrigation professional with strong design, estimating, service and leadership skills

• $58,000–$65,000+: Highly skilled professional capable of independently managing projects, customers, sales and crew operations

Commissions are paid in addition to salary. Starting salary is based on experience, technical ability, quality of work, leadership, sales ability and overall qualifications.

GUARANTEED YEAR-ROUND SALARY

This is a salaried, year-round position. If rain, snow, wet ground or other weather conditions prevent us from working, you still receive your regular salary.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Guaranteed year-round salary regardless of weather

• Commissions in addition to salary

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

• 401(k) with up to 4% company match

• $1,000–$3,000 annual Christmas bonus

• Additional 4% company 401(k) contribution associated with the Christmas bonus

• Paid holidays

• One week paid vacation after one year

• Saturdays generally off, with limited Saturday work as needed, typically a few times per year

• No required Sunday work except snow removal is necessary

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, estimate, sell and install residential irrigation systems

• Diagnose and repair irrigation and electrical problems

• Inspect systems and recommend repairs and upgrades

• Manage the irrigation crew, schedules and job sites

• Communicate with customers and ensure quality project completion

• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles

• Perform winter snow removal and snowplowing

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of irrigation experience; more preferred

• Strong irrigation diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Experience with design, installation, service and repair

• Ability to estimate and sell work

• Crew or project management experience preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Able to work independently and take ownership

• Dependable, safety-conscious and committed to quality

• Valid Missouri Class E driver's license, or willingness to obtain one

• Able to meet applicable DOT physical requirements

• Good driving record preferred

• Willingness to perform winter snow removal

Preferred, but not required: Backflow testing/certification, Spanish-speaking ability and snowplowing experience.
