Position Summary Lead Director - IVL MA Certifying Actuary for Midlands; Functional lead for Collaboration team. About the Role As a Certifying Actuary for the Midlands markets on the IVL MA team: Certifying Bids Oversee the development of IVL Medicare Advantage bid process for 26 bids in 2026. $1.5B in revenue. Certify Medicare Advantage Part C Bids under Scope. Responsible for desk review and audit of your market bids. Communicate Risks, Impacts and Drivers to Senior Leadership. Recommend mitigating actions for the successful development of the portfolio. Identify priorities and direct deliverables within the market; oversee the day-to-day activities of assigned staff. Manage workflow to meet deadlines and financial performance objectives. Council Market Partners on emerging risks and performance drivers. Provide perspective on strategy decision to meet stated organizational goals. Has accountability for market performance Functional Team Lead Lead a shared services team to support the development of the national bid portfolio. Maintain a workplan to support current deliverables and offseason improvement initiatives. Set best practices, facilitate team-wide communication and coordinate responses to regulators as a subject matter expert. Influence external business partners and lead collaboration across departments Who You Are Experienced in regulatory compliance within healthcare or actuarial settings. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree along with 10+ years of actuarial experience ASA or FSA is required IVL MA background prior management experience strong communication skills Preferred Qualifications 6 - 9 yrs of MA IVL pricing experience Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $144,200.00 - $288,400.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
