Maintenance Manager

Job description: Maintenance Manager Pittston, PA Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year Full-Time | In-Person Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, improving maintenance processes, and leading a high-performing maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and a solid technical background in manufacturing systems, automation, and equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Lead and manage maintenance staff, including scheduling, coaching, and performance management Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize downtime Support hiring, training, and development of maintenance personnel Maintenance & Reliability Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs Drive machine uptime and equipment reliability while controlling repair costs Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, automation, and facility-related issues Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Support installation and commissioning of new equipment Systems & Compliance Maintain maintenance procedures and records in compliance with company and industry standards Monitor maintenance KPIs and analyze downtime data using MES/CMMS systems Assist with inventory control, budgeting, and cost reduction initiatives Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, and company policies Qualifications Required Experience 3–5 years of maintenance/reliability experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs Working knowledge of: Robotics and automation systems Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting CMMS/MES systems Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred Equivalent maintenance and reliability experience considered Preferred Skills Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Plastics manufacturing experience preferred Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential Manufacturing Company
