If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR : EPIC
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call: ***/hr
• Charge/Precept : ***/hr

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Unit Information:

• Bed size: 24
• Patient ratios: Days/Evenings - 1:5, Nights - 1:6
• Float: Will float between Med Surg & Stepdown
• Dress Code: Navy or black tops and bottoms, solids

Will float between Med Surg & Stepdown -- Unit is the stroke unit for the hospital

• minimum of 12 months Med Surg care experience [required]
• EPIC emr experience
• 1st time travelers welcomed -- must have minimum of 18 months nursing experience in hospital/medical center setting
• experience administering heparin [required]
• experience administering cardizem [required]
• experience administering amiodarone [required]
• experience caring for neurology patients [required]
• experience caring for oncology patients [highly preferred]
• NIH stroke scale certificate [preferred] -- can obtain during onboarding

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

• Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current med surg / medical surgical / oncology / neurology experience [required]
• Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (med surg / medical surgical / oncology / neurology) - [required]
• Nursys / State of IA RN license verification [document] [required]
• Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
• Driver's License [document] [required]
• AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/client BLS / basic life support - [required]
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate - [highly preferred] -- can obtain during onboarding
