Urology Physician

We are seeking a full-time Urologist to join an academic medical center in New York City. This position offers a rich academic experience with strong institutional support in a large teaching hospital environment. The department currently consists of two Urology Nurse Practitioners, one full-time urologist, and one part-time urologist. Responsibilities Conduct four clinical sessions (two days) of office time per week. Perform 1-2 operating room days per week. Engage in administrative tasks and consultations. No late evenings or weekend office hours. Participate in a call schedule from home for consultations. Physician Assistants are onsite during nights and weekends, so presence is only required if a patient needs to go to the OR, which is rare. Take approximately 10 call shifts per month, with additional shifts paid separately at $900 per shift. Focus on general urology, with opportunities to build out female urology if desired.
