Controls Technician

Our client, an industry leader in building solutions, is seeking a Controls Service Technician IV to join their team. As a Controls Service Technician IV, you will be part of the Service Department supporting technical and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Controls Service Technician IV

Location: Dallas, Texas

Pay Range: $34-$46 Hourly

What's the Job?

• Manage advanced controls installation, programming, troubleshooting, and repair tasks
• Diagnose system performance through observation, testing, and setup as required by trade/position
• Perform planned maintenance and inspections as indicated in the service agreement
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment proficiently
• Coordinate with clients and team members to ensure customer satisfaction and clear communication

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Two-year technical degree in related field is preferred
• Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Service Technician
• Hands-on experience with controls platforms such as Siemens, Distech, JCI, Inet, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device data sheets
