Please click here to learn more about our locations.**Job Description****Job Summary** The Radiology Technologist at The Shriners Hospital for Children performs diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily X-rays, on pediatric patients to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. This role requires compassion, precision, and adherence to radiation safety protocols within a child-friendly healthcare environment. **Key Responsibilities*** Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff in a fast-paced setting* Maintain a high standard of safety, compliance, and patient satisfaction* Responsible for a correctively positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced* Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury* Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work-related events* Maintains on going- plan for personal growth and self-development**Required Qualifications*** High School Diploma/GED* Graduate of an accredited Radiology program* American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)* Basic Life Support (BLS)* Current State License**Preferred Qualifications*** 1 year experience in pediatric/orthopedic radiologyThe pay range for this position is $32.15 - $48.23.
