Mortgage Loan Officer

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to join a growing lending team in Charleston, SC. This role is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, developing referral relationships, and guiding borrowers through the home financing process from application to closing. Responsibilities: Originate Conventional, FHA, VA, and Jumbo loans Conduct borrower consultations, pre-qualifications, and pre-approvals Manage loan applications, documentation, and pipeline activity Utilize AUS (DU, LP, GUS) and Loan Origination Systems Build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, builders, and referral partners Generate new business through networking, community involvement, and existing relationships Ensure compliance with all mortgage lending regulations and company policies Provide outstanding customer service throughout the loan process Qualifications: 3+ years of mortgage loan origination experience Proven success originating Conventional, FHA, VA, and Jumbo loans Established realtor relationships and active book of business required Experience with AUS (DU, LP, GUS) and LOS platforms Builder relationships and first-time homebuyer experience are a plus Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills High school diploma or equivalent Compensation: $35K base salary and $100K+ OTE Ideal Candidate: A motivated mortgage professional with a strong referral network, a consultative sales approach, and a proven track record of driving loan production while delivering an exceptional borrower experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
