Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

This is a night shift position, working 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

Under the direct supervision and direction of the department manager, charge nurse, or staff nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) will perform duties assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional patient and family-centered care, adhering to established hospital methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care activities aligned with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to enhance the patient experience.
• Demonstrate understanding and implementation of patient and family-centered care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Long Term Care (LTC) - Required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association - Required
• Current Michigan RN license and fingerprinting (preferred)
