About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8 Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography Certifications: 1. BLS 2. NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) 3. NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT) Must-Have: - Clienttion badge must be provided by agency - Equipment/Scanner Experience with Siemens preferred - Trauma Level I and II experience preferred Description: Will work 5x8 hours with varying start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM. End times will vary between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. No holidays required. Weekend coverage may be needed for PET/CT scans if there is a camera down situation or excessive backlog. No floating between service lines is required. First-timers are accepted. Experience in Level 1 and Level 2 trauma is preferred. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval of time off is based on the manager and unit's needs. Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September. Modules are required prior to start and should be completed within the specified timeframe. Failure to complete compliance on time may delay the process. All laboratories must be completed within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of start. Candidates must be separated from the system for one year before returning as a traveler. MUST have a State License issued/active in hand prior to reporting for duty. Limited local candidates will be considered. RTO is due at the time of submission, and any changes after submission will not be accepted.
