Afternoon Caregiver

Senior Helpers

Caregiver (CNA or HHA) Position

We are seeking an engaging and experienced Caregiver (CNA or HHA) to provide assistance for a client in Ayer, MA. This part-time role focuses on morning care, offering support with daily activities and companionship. The client enjoys conversation, so a good talker with a warm personality is a must. There are no pets in the home but smoke tolerance is a must.

Requirements:

Must have a valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate
Previous caregiving experience is preferred but we happily offer additional training if needed
High school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation to and from shift
Strong conversational skills & a friendly demeanor

Examples of Job Duties:

Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
