Exercise Physiologist

The Exercise Physiologist is primarily responsible for administering cardiac stress tests, including: treadmill stress, stress echocardiograms, nuclear medicine treadmill stress, and nuclear medicine pharmacological stress. Responsible for above procedures and processing patient data with clinical judgment using a variety of information systems while facilitating clear patient education regarding their cardiac care, medications, disease process/prevention, risk factors, cardiac procedures and diet. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field. Upon hire: National Clinical Exercise Physiologist - American College of Sports Medicine OR Upon hire: National Exercise Physiologist - American College of Sports Medicine OR Upon hire: National Certified Cardiographic Technician Upon request: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree Upon hire: ACSM Certified CLINICAL- Exercise Physiologist 6 months of experience performing stress tests. 3 years in outpatient Cardiac Services.
