Brunswick believes "Next Never Rests™," and we offer a variety of exciting careers and growth opportunities within united teams defining the future of marine recreation.Position Overview:As part of the talented Lowe Boats team as an Assembler, you will assemble aluminum boats and/or sub-assemblies, partially or completely, working at bench, or in a boat, or on shop floor.Essential Functions:Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners. Using jigs, and gluing.Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and shears to produce close fit between parts.Operates drill presses, punch presses, air tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.Installs seats, bases, pedestals, consoles, cables, controls, graphics, etc.Responsible for following the quality systems procedures.Other duties as assignedDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.Required Qualifications:Self starter, team player with a good safety awarenessRequires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shiftPreferred Qualifications:High School diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience in boat assembly preferredWorking Conditions:May be required to work in a non-air conditioned areaRegularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbsExposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors on a daily basis.PPE required: Hearing protection, vision protection, safety toe shoes, safety glovesWhy Brunswick:Innovation is the heart of Brunswick. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for 2% annual productivity bonus.At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
