About the Position

The role requires experience in airway management, IV drip management, and caring for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. Candidates must be able to float to step-down units as needed. A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. The position operates on a night shift schedule, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Candidate must be able to manage a 2:1 patient ratio during shifts. Experience with specialized procedures such as chest tube management and ventilator care is preferred.
