Compensation

Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour

A Day in the Shop

You clock in, review the day’s build sheets, and pull materials for the first job. You verify measurements, mark your cuts, and bring the parts together with clean, accurate MIG welds. A quick quality check confirms tight tolerances and smooth beads. After a tidy pass with the grinder, the part meets spec and heads to the next station. Throughout the shift, you switch between setup, welding, and finishing—always keeping your work area organized and safe.

What You’ll Do

• Fabricate and weld metal components to print, holding tolerances and meeting finish requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurement callouts to plan each build.
• Set up and operate welding machines and related fabrication tools for efficient production.
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal pieces with precision.
• Inspect welds and assemblies for accuracy, strength, and appearance.
• Use grinders, saws, drills, and other hand/power tools to prep and finish parts.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
• Work independently while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.

What You Bring

• Hands-on welding and/or metal fabrication experience (production experience valued).
• MIG welding proficiency strongly preferred; TIG welding exposure is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools with accuracy.
• Strong eye for detail and a quality-first mindset.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and a reliable work ethic.
• Ability to safely lift and handle materials as needed.
