Key Responsibilities

• Provide all respiratory modalities across all areas of the hospital, including medication delivery and pulmonary hygiene
• Perform and manage invasive and non-invasive ventilator management, including operation of 980 ventilator and V60 devices
• Assist with intubation, emergency response, and transport of critically ill patients with artificial airways
• Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis, as well as hyperinflation therapy
• Conduct home oxygen assessments and coordinate home oxygen needs for patients
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as needed; no on-call or standby requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Colorado Respiratory Therapy license required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience providing respiratory care to adult inpatient populations
• Proficiency with invasive and non-invasive ventilator management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with 980 ventilator and V60 CPAP/BiPAP equipment
• Prior experience transporting critically ill patients with artificial airways
• Familiarity with high-flow oxygen therapy modalities
