Candidates should be available for an in-person interview Senior Java & Spring Boot Engineer We are seeking an experienced Java Engineer to help modernize and enhance large-scale, customer-facing web applications. This role will collaborate with technical specialists, product partners, and fellow engineers to develop secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with subject matter experts to understand user challenges, clarify requirements, and develop effective technical solutions.
- Lead modernization initiatives aimed at strengthening the security of Java-based web services.
- Design and build maintainable applications, customer-facing APIs, and single-page web applications.
- Support hybrid-cloud environments and implement proactive application monitoring.
- Contribute to technical architecture, system design, and long-term application strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve existing platforms, development practices, and overall system reliability.
- At least three years of professional experience developing large-scale, client-facing applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
- Background contributing to application architecture and technical design decisions.
- Understanding of scalable, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems.
- Experience developing or integrating RESTful APIs and modern web applications.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Exposure to hybrid-cloud architecture and cloud-based application environments.
- Familiarity with single-page frontend frameworks.
- Experience with application monitoring, performance optimization, and secure development practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
