Talent Development & Culture Supervisor

In this role, you'll design and champion innovative learning experiences, including leadership development, capability building, and skills for the future. You'll play a key role in creating a positive, inclusive workplace culture where employees feel supported and inspired to do their best work.
You'll collaborate across departments to strengthen our organization's performance and oversee a team of trainers, guiding their growth while delivering impactful learning programs. This position is also a key partner in advancing our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) priorities through meaningful learning initiatives and support for TRC resources.

Responsibilities
Essential function of the position:
- Lead training strategies including design, implementation, and continuously improve adult-centered learning programs.
- Ensure training is engaging, experiential, and applicable, incorporating adult learning principles and addressing diverse learning styles and workforce needs.
- Integrate diversity and inclusion into all training content, delivery, and evaluation; promote culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and accessible learning environments.
- Align learning strategies with talent management, culture initiatives, and change efforts to strengthen overall workforce effectiveness.
- Measure training effectiveness using and leverage data, observations, and assessments, to improve learner outcomes, behavior change, organizational performance, and drive continuous improvement, and inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee development and delivery of high-quality clinical and non-clinical training aligned with behavioral health best practices, workforce skill requirements, and enhance overall effectiveness.
- Partner with leadership and stakeholders to assess learning needs and align training initiatives with organizational goals.
- Maintains expertise in regulatory requirements and industry trends, ensuring learning strategies remain compliant and aligned with evolving expectations.
- Ensure all training programs comply with applicable behavioral health regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
- Support onboarding, continuous learning, and change management initiatives that reinforce organizational culture, engagement, and professional growth.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to manage training delivery, track completion and compliance, and analyze workforce development data.
- Manage external vendor relationships, including participating in selection, coordination, and evaluation of training providers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, quality standards, and budget expectations.
- Deep understanding of and demonstration of Diversity, and Inclusion practices in the workplace
- Supervise and develop trainers (clinical and non-clinical), fostering an inclusive, high-performing, and psychologically safe team environment, providing guidance and coaching to the team members and facilitators to ensure high-quality, effective delivery across in-person, virtual, and blended environments.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience demonstrated L&D and/or Training experience in a paid role
- 2 years of experience in an L&D or Training leadership role
- 3 years demonstrated experience working in and facilitating Diversity and Inclusion in a workplace environment
Certifications, licenses, registrations:
- SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR certification preferred
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively to multiple audiences.
- Progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Development, with demonstrated success leading enterprise or large-scale learning initiatives.
- Strong experience in program strategy, design, and execution across multiple learning modalities (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, digital, blended).
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ADDIE, Kirkpatrick model, LEAN, and other L&D learning tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to allow development of collaborative and sustainable working relationships with persons at all levels of the organization, practicing honesty and integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to compromise effectively when it is in the best interest of the organization and makes sound business sense.
- Ability to compile and analyze complex data.
- Ability to think critically, independently and make good decisions on behalf of the organization.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to maximize efficiency by developing new procedures and methods.
- Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments with the ability to balance enterprise consistency and business-specific needs.
- Current knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to analyze complex data
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, in both written and verbal forms.

Physical:
- Extended periods of sitting, computer use, talking and possibly standing
- Simple grasp, firm grasp, fine manipulation, pinch, finger dexterity, supination/pronation, wrist flexion
- Frequent torso/back static position; occasional stooping, bending and twisting
- Some kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying (not over 25 pounds), twisting and reaching
Mental:
- Ability to learn and prioritize multiple tasks at a given time and have the capability of handling demanding situations. Analytical/problem solving/critical thinking ability.
- Must be able to manage conflict, communicate effectively and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Work environment:
Ability to work a regular, full-time, Monday-Friday, hybrid work schedule of in office (mandatory for onsite trainings, workshops, etc) and remote work, that is fast paced with frequent interruptions. Flexibility to work outside of traditional business hours as needed to support 24/7 business units occasionally. Travel throughout the Greater Seattle and surrounding areas.
