Quality Engineer
Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance role. Experience with quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, SPC, and FMEA. Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or similar). Experience reviewing engineering drawings and product specifications. Ability to analyze data and identify trends using Excel, Minitab, or similar tools. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification. Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, MSA, and Control Plans. Experience using ERP/MES systems and quality management software. Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Job Description Position Summary
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet established quality standards by developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and procedures. This role works cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and operations teams to identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
