Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: CPI, CPR Must-Have: Candidates must have CPI and Adult Specific Competencies. Candidates must hold a current CPR certification. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health. The unit consists of 40 beds with a staff of 46. The night shift typically includes 4 RNs and 3 Mental Health Technicians. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:8. The unit is equipped with an EMR system (Meditech). No specific equipment needs to be managed. Ideal candidates will be compassionate and motivated. A solid understanding of mental illness is desirable. Dress code requires turquoise or black scrubs, with no unacceptable attire. This is a patient-centered unit dedicated to helping individuals in their darkest hours.
