Production and Packaging Role

Production and packaging roles involve ensuring the quality and efficiency of food manufacturing and packaging processes. The primary responsibility is to produce and package food products that meet customer expectations while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Duties:
  • Operate machinery and equipment for manufacturing food products.
  • Monitor the quality of products during production, including code dates and appearance.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines, such as the SQF code, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act).
• Packaging Duties:
  • Load empty containers, lids, and other materials onto the production line.
  • Assemble and open corrugated boxes for packaging products.
  • Pack finished goods into appropriate containers and cases.
• Safety and Maintenance:
  • Adhere to all workplace safety policies, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area and assist with minor equipment maintenance when necessary.

This is an on call position, you are not guaranteed 40 hours.
