Job Summary:
An experienced ICU Float Nurse position is available in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves floating across multiple intensive care units, including Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID units. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The healthcare organization seeks strong, independent nursing professionals with a minimum of two years of ICU experience, including at least one year in a cardiovascular ICU. The position offers an opportunity to work night shifts, with a commitment of at least 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend requirement and a minimum of six weekend shifts within a six-week schedule; includes holiday rotation.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Missouri (MO) license or compact license (no issuance if tied to another compact state); license in hand required at the time of submittal. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including 1 year in a cardiovascular ICU.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC system experience, certifications such as ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, OCN, TNCC.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to inpatient floors with ratios of no more than 1:3, and may include non-critical care units or patient sitter duties as needed.
• Additional Information: The position requires compliance with flu vaccination policies, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons. The assignment begins on 07/27/2026.
