Job TitleMedical Records SecretaryJob DescriptionAssumes responsibility for record keeping, and intra-departmental and inter-departmental communications.OverviewKelemen North and South 9 is a two-sided, seventy-six bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. Our staff care for a variety of patient populations, including cardiac, trauma, gastrointestinal, and psych.To support our staff are Clinical Nurse Managers (CNMs) which help with patient care, throughput, and assignments. Nurses who are staffed on Kelemen 9 are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, which will allow competent and safe care for our complex patient populations.Experience RequiredPrevious hospital unit secretary, medical office assistant or medical records experience preferred.Additional unit-specific qualification may be required.Clerical, communication and customer service experience a plus.Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required.Special RequirementsShift Requirements:6am-2:30pm3 shifts per weekEvery 3rd weekend preassignedrotating holidaysSalary Min ($)USD $18.00Salary Max ($)USD $29.00
