Phlebotomist
$21 - $33 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Palm Springs, California patient service center. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, and providing customer service Monday through Friday with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
- Process billing information and collect payments as required
- Prepare specimens for testing and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- California state phlebotomy license (CPT) or filed application at hire
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Spanish and English preferred
Compensation: $21.00 - $33.00 per hour
