Responsibilities
- Provide professional RN care across the perioperative continuum: preoperative preparation, intraoperative support, and postoperative assessment as applicable.
- Assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in perioperative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures (RNFA role).
- Coordinate, manage, provide and delegate patient care in collaboration with the surgical team; maintain Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Uphold professional accountability within the perioperative team and contribute to a safe, efficient surgical environment.
- Follow facility policies and guidelines and report to perioperative leadership (Director of Perioperative Services) for operational needs.
- Demonstrate leadership and professionalism consistent with the expanded RN role in the perioperative setting.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (unrestricted)
- Perioperative nursing experience or demonstrated RN First Assistant scope preferred
- Ability to work in a perioperative environment and support the primary surgeon as RNFA
- Strong assessment, planning, implementation, and communication skills; ability to coordinate patient care with the team
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adapt to rotating 10-hour shifts
