Outbound Lead

This is an Outbound Lead position, with potential future opportunities to be promoted into higher leadership within Jitsu.

For this position, interviews will be required. First, you will phonescreen with Bluecrew, then you will meet the Onsite Supervisor on a virtual interview.

Questions to prepare for the interview:

• 1. Situational Questions: have you ever led a team? What is your leadership style? How have you navigated through tough situations where you needed to coach? Have you ever coached anyone? Can you walk through any escalation tactics?
• 2. Specific Questions around leadership: have you worked with administrative tools? Comminication through email and slack?

The first 1 or 2 days of training, you will be working with the Site Supervisor on a morning shift, from 8am - 1pm, to see operations. Then you will adjust your schedule to the evening shift outlined in this job post.

You will manage a minimum of 1 employees, and a maximum of 5 employees, depending on volume. The goal will be to lead daily huddles, speak through safety topics, operational needs, training expectations, and general leadership communication.

This position will usually be 20 - 25 hours per week. There is rarely overtime.

All the employees that you will be managing will be core employees from temporary platforms.

Technology proficiencies:

• We use Google Platforms, Slack, other internal proprietary systems.

Onboarding/Training: you will go through a phased training, that will consist of 7 days. You will learn more about your day to day routines, leadership, processes, and overall operational goals.

We often find leaders that excel at open communication, have experience with coaching, and have been in a leadership role in the past are the best fit here.

This is a long-term position, with promotional opportunties.

Forklifts: Sit Down Standard Forklift: you will be certified onsite within the first 5-7 days.

Warehouse environment: moderately temperature-controlled.

• *Previous leadership experience required
• *Forklift certification required
• *Previous warehouse experience
• *Effective communication skills
• *Must be able to lift 35-60 lbs
• *Must be able to operate pallet jack

• Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor
• Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
• Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment

When working in a warehouse environment through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

• Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items
• Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight
• Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner
• Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor
• Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
• Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
• There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
