This position involves providing outpatient and acute care therapy services within a rehab unit and outpatient clinics. Candidates are required to bring their licensed state certification on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Spruce Pine, North Carolina


• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the State of North Carolina, zero years of minimum experience required


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient and acute care settings, orthopedic/sports medicine/spine/manual therapy, vestibular/vertigo/stroke rehabilitation


• Additional Information: The role involves working within a 60-bed acute care unit and two outpatient clinics, performing procedures such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, balance training, and gait training. The ideal candidate is team-oriented and outgoing. Rotation every fifth weekend with limited patient visits on Saturdays and no Sunday visits. EMR systems utilized include CERNER for acute care and Nethealth Xfits (formerly ReDoc) for outpatient care.
