Project Engineering Manager

Senior Project Engineering ManagerInsight Global is seeking a Senior Project Engineering Manager to join their team in Schenectady, NY or Greenville, SC area. This role requires some travel within the US. The travel is not consistent, but the candidate should plan to travel about one week per month. International travel is not foreseen for this role. This role will lead the engineering execution of projects during the Order-to-Remittance (execution) phase, with a strong focus on Balance of Plant (BOP) scope within power generation projects. The Senior Project Engineering Manager acts as the technical leader responsible for developing scope, planning schedules, and overseeing engineering activities across multiple concurrent projects. This individual will manage matrixed engineering teams (typically up to 10 members) across global locations, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, risk mitigation, and delivery timelines. The role includes direct ownership of engineering deliverables, budget impact analysis, and technical issue resolution, while interfacing regularly with customers, EPCs, and internal stakeholders across design, sourcing, logistics, and project management. This position requires strong technical judgment, experience managing complex engineering scopes, and the ability to drive project execution, profitability, and compliance while maintaining customer satisfaction.
