Position: Certified Operating Room Technician

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 AM - 05:00 PM)

Description:

We are seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician with preferences for experience in Trauma, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery. This role requires strong surgical support skills and versatility within the operating room.

Required Certifications:

• NBSTSA
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a surgical setting.
• At least 1 year of travel experience is preferred.

On Call Requirements:

8 call shifts required per month.

Weekend Requirements:

Every other weekend.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to:



• Abdominal hysterectomy
• Appendectomy
• Arthroscopy
• C-Sections
• Trauma cases
• Joint replacements
• Spinal fusions
• And various others as required
• Maintain sterile field and provide technical assistance to the surgical team.
• Demonstrate proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control practices.
• Prepare operating rooms, including setup and breakdown of equipment and instruments.

Work Environment:

This position requires the clinician to float within their scope of practice to meet the needs of the facility.
