Outsourced Accounting Associate

Supporting day-to-day accounting operations for government contracting clients, the full-time Outsourced Accounting Associate will assist with accounts payable and receivable, job costing, payroll processing, and financial reporting while working remotely. Key responsibilities Assist with accounts payable processing, including invoice entry and check runs Support accounts receivable tasks such as customer invoicing and payment tracking Prepare monthly bank and account reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities Required qualifications 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or with government contractors Exposure to Unanet, Costpoint, and/or QuickBooks is strongly preferred Foundational understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting Familiarity with government contracting concepts (FAR, indirect rates, job costing) is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
