Cath Lab Tech With Ep Experience

The Cath Lab Tech with EP experience provides specialized support in cardiovascular procedures, including electrophysiology and catheterization lab activities. This role involves assisting physicians, monitoring procedures, and ensuring optimal equipment function within the cath lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist in all EP and cath lab procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques.
• Document procedural details accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and stock labs and equipment to maintain smooth workflow.
• Operate and troubleshoot EP recording systems and related medical devices.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, providing critical support.
• Assist with device work, including Impella, IABP, Inari, and laser lead extractions.

Qualifications:

• Valid BLS, ACLS, WVRT license, and ARRT certification (R, CI, or VI).
• Proven experience with EP procedures, electrophysiology, and catheterization labs.
• Knowledge of specific equipment such as Toshiba, Carto, and Abbott systems.
• Ability to scrub, document cases, and assist physicians efficiently.
• Strong understanding of cardiology patient care and procedures.
• Capable of responding to on-call duties with a 30-minute response time.
