CB Partners is partnering with a premier multi-entity organization in Cherry Creek that is seeking an Accountant to join its collaborative and growing accounting team. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys solving problems, working with complex financial information, and contributing to a team-focused culture. The Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, account reconciliations, cash management, financial reporting, and various special projects that support organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across multiple entities
• Support the preparation of internal financial reports, schedules, and analysis
• Monitor cash activity, assist with forecasting efforts, and support treasury-related processes
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing of financial transactions
• Maintain supporting documentation and reporting related to ongoing business activities
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency and strengthen controls
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to information requests from internal and external parties
• Participate in cross-functional projects and other accounting initiatives as needed
• Support the overall integrity and reliability of financial information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, including internships or public accounting experience
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience supporting close processes, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting and reporting systems
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• CPA eligible, pursuing certification, or public accounting experience preferred
• Experience with Business Central, Solver, Power BI, or similar reporting tools is a plus
