Organ Health Specialist

TERRITORY: Northern California (Sacramento to Eureka and Redding) and Northern Nevada (Reno, Carson City, and surrounding communities).We are looking for an Organ Health Specialist (OHS) to join the Organ Health sales team! In this role, you will drive growth and market development within the general nephrology market by cultivating new and maintaining existing key relationships, executing strategic business plans, and promoting the adoption of Organ Health products. Your expertise and insights will play a critical role in advancing our mission to support healthcare providers with innovative diagnostic tools.RESPONSIBILITIESAs an Organ Health Specialist, you will promote and sell Renasight, a genetic test analyzing 385 genes to identify potential hereditary causes of kidney disease, and Prospera, a non-invasive cfDNA test for early detection of kidney transplant rejection—both supporting comprehensive kidney health management from diagnosis to post-transplant care.Achieve and exceed performance goals through effective sales strategies, client relationship building, and territory management.Drive market adoption of Natera’s Organ Health portfolio (Renasight and Prospera), contributing to successful product launches and market expansion.Serve as a local expert on Natera’s technology and services, representing the company with professionalism and technical expertise.Develop and execute tailored local business plans to achieve sales objectives and maximize available resources.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree or equivalent educational background.A minimum of 6 years of progressive sales experience, ideally within laboratory, molecular, or diagnostic sales.Proven track record of closing sales, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.Proven ability to drive adoption through clinical education and consultative sellingExisting relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in nephrology or specialty medicine.Knowledge of academic medical systems and large hospital systems (IDNs) related to nephrology or specialty medicine.Travel up to 50% - 75% within territory, with 10% - 20% overnight stayKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESProven ability to collaborate with diverse teams to define and execute strategic plans effectively.Demonstrates a hunter mentality with a proven track record of successfully growing and managing a territory.Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and independent approach to overcoming challenges.Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, fostering meaningful connections and delivering impactful results.Thrives in dynamic and fast-paced environments, demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, and excellent time management skills.The total On Target Earnings (OTE) offers a competitive base salary and uncapped quarterly commissions. In addition we also offer a car allowance, and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).Compensation & Total Rewards The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. On-target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals.
