Job TitleJob DescriptionPosition Responsibilities:Develop and review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements and related specificationsParticipate in activities concerning product development, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problemsApplies knowledge of engineering principles to design products for relevant industry (such as Automotive, Medical Device, Power Distribution, Sensor)Design and implement mechanical products using various CAD and CAE toolsEvaluate and implement design changes, specifications, and drawing releasesIs guided by and provide support to more experienced engineersConducts product testing and creates models and prototypesMay be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical productsParticipate in product team environments related to mechanical & electrical product designInteract with sales personnel and travel to customers and vendors as requiredOther related duties as assignedQualifications:BSME or BS Bio Mechanical engineering degree from a four year college or university1 – 2+ years of related experienceSelf learning, task oriented, outstanding interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledge and proficiency with components in electrical transferCAD or equivalent program knowledge, 3D preferredAbility to travelProven ability to overcome obstacles and get resultsWork Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
