Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in Damariscotta, Maine. This position entails providing care for patients in a community access hospital with telemetry, medical-surgical, and critical care patients. The role is suitable for experienced registered nurses with a background in telemetry or med-surg/telemetry from larger healthcare organizations. The facility's unit has a focus on patient monitoring and stabilization, with no vented patients or vent drips. This is a full-time position with night shift coverage expected.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and ends on 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license with 2 years of experience in telemetry or med-surg/telemetry units from larger healthcare organizations. Valid certification and educational modules as required.
• Preferred Qualifications: ICU or SCU experience.
• Float: Occasional float to Medical Surgical Emergency (MSE) units may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit is an intermediate community access hospital with telemetry, med-surg, and limited critical care patients. Equipment includes ventilators, ceiling lifts, plumb pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, and Sequential Compression Devices (SCD boots). The EMR system utilized is EPIC. Candidates should have experience with vasoactive drips and ventilators, and possess a proactive, team-oriented personality suited for a down-to-earth, high-standard work environment.
