EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.Haveyoueverwonderedwhattherestofyourpatient'sstoryisaftertheiracutehospitalstay?Doyouhavethedesiretoseestroke,hipfracture,orpulmonarypatientsmeettheirgoalsofimprovedfunctionalabilityandindependence?Comejointhedynamicmulti-disciplinaryteamattheRehabilitationPavilion.WhenpatientsareadmittedtotheDCHRehabilitationPavilion,locatedatNorthportMedicalCenter,theycontinuetoreceivehospitalcareandclosemedicalsupervisionwhileparticipatingintherehabprogram.Everypatientreceives24-hourmedicalmonitoringandcarebyourphysiatrist,nursepractitioners/physicianassistantsandrehabnurses.Providersrounddailyduringthepatientsstay.Patientrecoveryisaidedbythelatesttherapyequipmentincludingbodyweightsupportsystemsforsaferecoveryofwalking;treadmillsformaximumrepetitions;aDynavisionmachineforimprovingreactiontimeandvisualprocessingandasimulationvehicletopracticegettinginandoutofthevehiclefortheridehome.Education-RequiredAssociateddegreeinnursingCertifications RequiredAHABLSOR RED CROSSLicenses RequiredRegisteredNurseStateofAlabamaorCompactlicense(NoTempLicenses'accepted) RECENT experienceinthefieldofspecialty.
