Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Psychiatry

Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations of patients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals Document patient assessments and treatment plans accurately Provide education and support to patients and their families Participate in team meetings and contribute to care strategies Remain current with best practices in psychiatric care Requirements Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant license Experience in psychiatric or mental health settings preferred Strong assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a team Understanding of relevant laws and regulations in psychiatric care Commitment to continuing education and professional development Flexibility to adapt to various patient needs and treatment plans Schedule: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 8:30a-5p No call or weekends Setting: Outpatient Patient Population: Ages 65+ Duties: Follow-up assessments and medication management EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
