Pharmacist opportunity available in a 100-bed community hospital located approximately 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City. This contract role offers a schedule of 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, providing a balanced work-life rhythm for professionals focused on hospital pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with precision and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient medication regimens
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide clinical consultation
• Utilize Meditech electronic health records for accurate medication management

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current Oklahoma pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred to navigate clinical and operational demands effectively
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to work independently during night shifts with sound clinical judgment

Location:

• Perry, OK area, in a community hospital setting serving a close-knit patient population
