Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Service Manager to lead our Service Department. The Service Manager will oversee daily service operations, manage and mentor our service team, and ensure every customer leaves with a positive experience and a properly serviced vehicle. This is a key leadership role for someone who takes pride in operational excellence and wants to be part of a dealership that feels like family. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality repairs Hire, train, schedule, and mentor service advisors and technicians Ensure an outstanding customer experience from check-in through vehicle delivery Monitor and manage department budgets, labor hours, parts costs, and profitability Maintain manufacturer (CDJR and Ford) service standards, certifications, and warranty compliance Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to build lasting trust Track key performance metrics (CSI, productivity, efficiency) and drive continuous improvement Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment in compliance with dealership and safety standards Partner with Parts and Sales departments to support overall dealership goals Qualifications Previous automotive service management or service advisor leadership experience preferred Strong working knowledge of dealership service operations; CDJR and/or Ford experience a plus Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills ASE certifications a plus Experience with dealership service software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, DealerTrack, or similar) preferred Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening What We Offer Competitive pay, based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) plan Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts Ongoing training and career growth opportunities A supportive, family-like team environment in a great family-centered community Heritage Motor Company of Tremonton is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
