Terminal Operations Assistant - SISD Job Posting

The Terminal Operations Assistant supports daily passenger and vehicle operations at a ferry terminal. This position is designed for someone who enjoys working with people, can stay organized in a busy environment, and doesn't mind working both indoors and outdoors. Typical duties may include: Greeting and checking in passengers Answering basic travel and schedule questions Assisting with vehicle staging before loading Communicating with vessel and terminal staff Answering phones Completing basic transactions and paperwork Helping passengers who need additional assistance Keeping terminal areas clean and organized Following safety and security procedures Helping coworkers during busy arrival and departure periods Qualifications: Applicants should be friendly, dependable, comfortable communicating with the public, and able to remain calm when things get busy. No previous transportation or customer service experience is required. Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10-20 hours per week, including weekends and some early mornings.
