Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and mental health screenings for clients seeking assistance, accurately evaluating their needs and establishing appropriate treatment plans based on individual goals. \n
- Deliver telehealth counseling sessions focusing on crisis intervention for clients facing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma-related issues. \n
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and educational workshops to promote mental health awareness, life skills, and coping strategies, enhancing overall community engagement. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to care for each client. \n
- Engage in proactive outreach to underserved populations, enhancing access to mental health resources and promoting a culture of wellness through community events and campaigns. \n
- Maintain confidential client records and documentation using electronic health record systems, meeting all legal and ethical standards of practice. \n
The client base for this position primarily includes individuals experiencing mental health challenges amid rehabilitation efforts. You will work with diverse demographics, including adults recovering from substance abuse, individuals facing independent living challenges, and those seeking mental health counseling in conjunction with rehabilitation services. - Applicants must possess an active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent mental health credential such as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related discipline is preferred. \n
- Candidates should demonstrate a nuanced understanding of the psychological challenges faced by individuals in rehabilitation settings. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling effective collaboration with clients, colleagues, and community partners. \n
