Prep Cook

Hank’s Bagels is looking for experienced prep cooks or bakers to join our commissary team ! Our commissary is the central kitchen responsible for making all the bagels and prepped food items served daily at our four Hank’s locations .

We are looking for candidates with at least two years' recent cooking experience who are (or can become) early risers!

Our bakery shifts are typically eight hours and start between 3:30am and 5am, depending on the position. Morning and weekend availability are a must.

Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, open to direction, and eager to learn. We laugh hard, work hard, and we are very busy. Our team must be flexible and cool under pressure. 

What you’ll do:

• Handle daily prep for sauces, spreads, and other menu items
• Help prepare and bake our signature bagels
• Work as part of a small, dedicated team focused on consistency and quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen

What we’re looking for:

• Previous kitchen experience as a prep or line cook (bagel or bread experience is a plus!)

• Strong attention to detail and consistency

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Ability to multitask while staying accurate
