Mail Sorter The Job Center is Hiring for associates on 1 st and 3 rd shift for Warehouse Mail Sorters in the City of Grand Prairie, TX area. This is a great opportunity for a temp to hire placement. Compensation/Shift/Benefits of Warehouse Mail Sorter
- 1 st Shift Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm $16.50
- 3 rd Shift Tuesday - Saturday 12:30am - 8:30am $18.50
- Will be required to work overtime as needed this will include off days and weekends as well when needed
- Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO
- Eligibility for the Work and Win Program - Rent/Mortgage paid for a year
- Climate-controlled and weekly pay!
- Prepare outgoing metered mail by reviewing proper date, postage and barcodes
- Communicate errors and recognize bad barcodes found in the mail
- Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machine
- This is a very physical role with a lot of bending twisting and consistently lifting 35 lb mail trays - this is not a light duty position
- This environment is very dusty
- Basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of their native language
- The ability to work overtime which includes weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or potential no advance notice
- Must have 1+ year of fast-paced warehouse experience.
- The ability to be dependable and reliable.
- Physical demands and ability- lift up to 5 0 lbs and walk, stand stoop and bend 80% of the time .
