Organizational Change Management Lead – PIMLocation: San Francisco, CA preferred; Rocklin, CA or San Jose, CA considered Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday onsite; Friday remote Duration: Long-Term Contract Start Date: ASAPPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to support the enterprise rollout of a new Product Information Management (PIM) capability within a large retail/consumer products organization.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Organizational Change Management experience supporting enterprise technology implementations, with strong preference for candidates who have worked with PIM, Master Data Management (MDM), Product Data Management, ERP, Supply Chain, or Merchandising initiatives.This is a highly hands-on role. The OCM Lead will develop the overall change strategy while also executing training, communications, stakeholder engagement, UAT readiness, adoption activities, and post-go-live hypercare.The successful candidate will partner closely with Product Management, Operations, business stakeholders, technology teams, senior leaders, and system integration partners to ensure users are prepared for and successfully adopt new processes and technology.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the Organizational Change Management strategy for the enterprise PIM implementation.Partner with Product Management, Operations, business teams, technology teams, and system integrators to drive user readiness and adoption.Assess organizational and stakeholder impacts associated with new processes, systems, and workflows.Identify change risks and develop mitigation strategies across impacted business groups.Build and manage the overall change management and training framework.Develop training curricula, learning plans, communications, and rollout strategies.Review, organize, and enhance existing training materials and learning content.Edit and refine user guides, job aids, SOPs, and training materials provided by implementation partners.Facilitate end-user training sessions, workshops, demonstrations, and readiness activities.Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, feedback collection, and issue tracking.Establish processes for gathering, analyzing, and responding to user feedback throughout implementation and deployment.Identify gaps in business processes, SOPs, documentation, and training and recommend practical improvements.Coordinate change activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.Support go-live and post-go-live hypercare activities to ensure a smooth transition.Partner with Director-level leaders and operational teams to address adoption challenges.Track and communicate change readiness, adoption, risks, issues, and action items to program leadership.Work closely with system integrators and implementation partners to ensure change deliverables align with the overall implementation plan.Serve as a hands-on change agent who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels.Required Qualifications5+ years of Organizational Change Management experience supporting enterprise technology implementations.Strong experience with PIM, MDM, Product Data Management, ERP, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or similar business transformation initiatives.PIM experience is highly preferred.Experience within an enterprise retail, eCommerce, merchandising, or consumer products/Client environment.Demonstrated ability to establish an OCM program from the ground up.Experience developing repeatable change management processes and stakeholder engagement strategies.Strong background creating and delivering:Training programsUser guidesJob aidsCommunicationsAdoption strategiesReadiness plansExperience supporting UAT and user readiness activities.Strong stakeholder management experience, including working with Director-level and senior business leaders.Excellent facilitation, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.Comfortable working in both strategic planning and hands-on execution capacities.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Product Information Management (PIM) platforms.Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.eCommerce or retail merchandising experience.Consumer products / Client industry experience.Experience supporting multi-brand organizations.Knowledge of Prosci, ADKAR, or other formal change management methodologies.Experience working with global system integrators such as Client, Client, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, or similar organizations.Experience with enterprise implementations involving significant business process transformation.
