Part-Time Bookkeeper (Temporary)

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Part-Time Bookkeeper (Temporary) for an established professional services organization. This is a part-time, temporary opportunity located in San Francisco’s Mission District , working approximately 20 hours per week for 5 weeks . POSITION OVERVIEW The Part-Time Bookkeeper will provide essential bookkeeping and invoicing support while a key team member is on leave. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can quickly step into an established bookkeeping process, work independently, and maintain accurate financial records. The successful candidate will be dependable, organized, and comfortable managing day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities with minimal oversight. PERKS Competitive pay of $30–$35 per hour Part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week Short-term, approximately 5-week assignment with an ASAP start Opportunity to make an immediate impact by supporting essential financial operations Professional work environment with the autonomy to independently manage core responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate financial records Prepare, process, and track invoices in a timely and accurate manner Enter and maintain financial information within AMS360 Review bookkeeping and invoicing records for accuracy and address discrepancies as needed Maintain organized financial documentation and continuity of existing bookkeeping processes Independently prioritize responsibilities and complete time-sensitive financial tasks QUALIFICATIONS Hands-on experience with bookkeeping and general accounting processes Demonstrated experience preparing, processing, and managing invoices Experience with AMS360 or the ability to quickly learn new accounting and business systems Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy and organizational skills Reliable, professional, and comfortable independently managing established bookkeeping responsibilities COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This temporary position offers an hourly pay rate of $30–$35 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
