Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted warehouse and distribution areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, conditions, and/or operational concerns within the logistics location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
