Description We are excited to announce an excellent employment opportunity for a Physician to join our team at the Winter Haven office. As a Physician , you will perform routine clinical care for our patients. Your warm and welcoming demeanor puts patients at ease throughout their visit by conducting examinations, assessing symptoms, prescribing medications, and providing treatment. You will conduct routine check-ups to assess patients’ health conditions, perform examinations of patients with illnesses, intake and update the patient’s medical history, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. Key Responsibilities Interview, examine and diagnose patients during clinic visits. Order appropriate diagnostic tests, interpret results, and communicate treatment options; refer patients to specialists when necessary. Review and maintain patients’ records and medical histories in a timely fashion. Perform minor surgical procedures such as wound care, suturing, joint aspirations, injections, and administer immunizations. Prescribe pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens, discuss potential side effects, and ensure allergy information is up to date. Provide education and counseling to patients and families to improve health outcomes. Accurately record correct healthcare diagnoses for proper billing. Stay current on the latest medical research, practices, and procedures impacting clinical care. Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards, including infection control. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and state privacy laws. Complete administrative assignments as requested by the Medical Director and collaborate with providers to ensure a cohesive environment. Actively participate in monthly provider team meetings and performance reviews with the Medical Director. Required Qualifications Current Florida License (Full or ACN) or ability to obtain one. BLS certification. EMR experience. Primary Care Physician practice experience. Experience managing Medicare Advantage patients or Value‑Based Care. Preferred Qualifications Athena experience. Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine. Full bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).
