Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. This role is situated on a high acuity floor in a surgery trauma environment. Nurses in this position will manage a patient population that includes surgical, gunshot, quadriplegic, and paraplegic cases. The assignment involves working in a dynamic and supportive environment with nursing support techs and a patient ratio of 5:1.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a high acuity surgical trauma patient population
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including phlebotomists and unit secretaries
• Participate in and facilitate nurse handoffs with the ED nurse and admitting unit
• Manage patient care with a nursing support ratio of 5:1
• Adhere to given shifts, including mandatory holiday coverage

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Valid RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC software
