Podiatrist - Associate Chief of Staff for Ambulatory Care/Primary Care

VA North Texas Health Care System is actively recruiting for an Associate Chief of Staff for Ambulatory Care who will be responsible for the overall operation of Primary Care (including Women's Health and Tele-Health), Employee Occupational Health, Blind/Low Vision, and Compensation & Pension Unit. Ambulatory Care is aligned directly under the Chief of Staff. Recruitment/Relocation May be Authorized Education Debt Reduction Program is authorized. Preferred Experience: Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and implementation of primary care delivery systems, optimizing patient care, and improving health outcomes. Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving organizational excellence. Expertise in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety protocols, and the integration of evidence-based practices to enhance the delivery of primary care services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, patients, and external stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of VA policies, regulations, and systems, or equivalent experience in a comparable healthcare setting, to effectively navigate and lead within the VA framework.
