Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Multi-Licensed Staff Pharmacist to provide specialized pharmaceutical care within a low-volume specialty pharmacy setting. It offers the chance to work closely with patients managing complex and chronic conditions through infused therapies. The role is based in the Nashville area, with flexibility to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive clinical management for patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused medications.
- Apply expertise in factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and a variety of subcutaneous and intravenous infusions.
- Educate patients and families on medication administration techniques, side effect monitoring, adherence, and safe medication handling at home.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and care coordinators, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Partner with reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance complexities, secure prior authorizations, and connect patients to financial support options.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Tennessee pharmacist license is required.
- Arkansas pharmacist license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
- Experience with CareTend software highly preferred; training available.
- Openness to obtaining additional state licenses to support multi-state practice.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
